A clear connection plan starts with the product specifications. Check each bulb base, socket, wire rating and connector type before combining components.

Match the bulb base to the socket

Select socket wire for the actual bulb base specified on the product. Keep the C7 and C9 wire options distinct. Check socket spacing as well as overall roll length: a longer roll does not change the spacing between sockets.

Check wire and plug specifications

Compare the wire designation, gauge and electrical requirements with the intended plug. The catalogue includes socket wire, unsocketed zip wire and different zip-plug types, so confirm the exact product rather than choosing by colour or appearance. Follow the verified product instructions.

Keep mini-light connection systems separate

Coaxial mini-light strings use their corresponding connection system. Standard-plug strings are a separate choice. For adapters, splitters and Y-connectors, confirm the precise connector and approved system match; a shared category is not proof of compatibility.

Confirm accessories and installation requirements

Check whether the product includes the required plugs, adapters or mounting components. Make a list of separate items, and use verified compatibility information before purchasing them together. Ask for clarification when a specification is incomplete or conflicting.
