Choosing wire & plugs for your Christmas display

Choose socket wire or unsocketed wire

Socket wire contains spaced lamp sockets; zip wire does not. For socket wire, compare both the overall length and socket spacing. Measure each run separately so that your order reflects the layout of your display.

Match plugs to the wire

Review the wire designation, gauge and electrical requirements for the exact plug and wire. An SPT designation is not the wire gauge. Do not assume matching colours mean components are compatible.
